【报告人简介】:
 
  Bronwyn is an oceanographer, with a PhD in trace element biogeochemistry and first class Honours in Antarctic Studies from the University of Tasmania, Australia. Her undergraduates studies were competed at the Australian National University, where she received a Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry, and a Bachelor of Asian Studies, majoring in Japanese language and Eastern Religions. Prior to joining Nature Climate Change, Bronwyn was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southampton, UK and European Institute for Marine Studies, Brest, France. Her research work focused on trace metal cycling in marine waters and their roles as micronutrients for phytoplankton.


【报告内容简介】:
  Nature Climate Change launched in April 2011 and is a monthly journal dedicated to publishing the most significant and cutting-edge research on the science and impacts of global climate change and its implications for the economy, policy and the world at large. The journal covers the physical, biological and social and behaviour sciences and strives to synthesize interdisciplinary research. Dr Bronwyn Wake. She joined the journal in 2012 to cover the physical sciences and the marine and aquatic environment. In November 2014, Bronwyn moved to spend 18 months in Australia establishing an editorial presence for the Nature family whilst still working on the journal, before returning to London in May this year as Chief Editor.
