The 2025 Chinese Economic Association (CEA) Europe/UK Annual Conference (全欧/全英中国经济学会中国学术年会), which will be held on 18-20 April, in Beijing, China, aims to gather distinguished scholars, young scholars and students from around the world to explore pivotal economic challenges and opportunities, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and highlight innovative research. The conference will be hosted by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in Beijing, China(北京理工大学能源与环境政策研究中心).
The theme of the conference is "Economic Frontiers: Interdisciplinarity, Innovation, and Sustainability in a Changing World". We welcome a broad range of research topics in economics, especially those at the intersection of economics and other disciplines. The conference particularly encourages interdisciplinary research proposals that delve into the determinants of economic growth, innovation, and sustainability. This includes examining the roles of technological advancements, policy implications, and market dynamics across various fields. We also invite research that addresses practical issues and real-world applications, such as economic policies for climate change mitigation or strategies for fostering innovation in global supply chains.

The Chinese Economic Association (CEA) Europe/UK(全欧/全英中国经济学会), established in 1988, is an independent, non-profit academic organization and one of Europe’s most influential bodies focused on China’s economic development. The CEA unites scholars, students, and business leaders who share an interest in China's economy, with the goal of deepening public understanding and promoting high-quality research in this field. Activities of the Association include the publication of a quarterly newsletter and occasional discussion papers, and the holding of an annual conference, seminars and workshops. CEA (UK/Europe) encourages research activity and scholarly exchanges between Britain, other European countries and China.

BIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP-BIT, 北京理工大学能源与环境政策研究中心) was established in 2009 with the approval of the University and originated from a research team specializing in complex resource and environmental systems, which was founded by Professor Yi-Ming Wei at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the 1990s. CEEP-BIT focuses on the global scientific and technological frontiers and China’s major demands in the field of energy and climate change through scientific research and personnel training.
