The book New Energy Vehicles: Roadmap and Policy Research, compiled by relevant researchers organized by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP), has recently been officially published by Science Press. Research on the development pathways and policies for new energy vehicles has become a focus of academic attention both domestically and internationally. Focusing on the technological pathways of new energy vehicle development in China, this book analyzes industrial development policies, industrial layout, technological innovation, business models, policy incentives, and energy-saving and emission-reduction effects in both domestic and international contexts. It systematically examines the current status, policy effects, and development pathways of new energy vehicles worldwide, and provides a case study of Beijing as a megacity, proposing technological pathways and policy recommendations suited to China's new energy vehicle development. This book serves as a reference for technical personnel, managers, and researchers working in fields such as the new energy electric vehicle industry, urban low-carbon development pathways, applied economics, management science, and environmental and resource sciences. It can also be used as a reference textbook for graduate students, undergraduates, and teachers in relevant higher education institutions. It holds significant scientific importance and broad application value. The publication of this book was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 71273031) and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation (Grant No. 9152014).
