——Chinese President Xi Jinping has addressed British politicians in London during a four-day visit in which a plan for two state-owned Chinese utilities to invest in a $25b nuclear power project being built by French utility EDF at Hinkley Point in southwest England has been made.
——On 21th October in London, during Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to the United Kingdom, CNPC Chairman Wang Yilin and BP Group Chief Executive Bob Dudley signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation to strengthen cooperation in oil and gas development, and continue to expand fuel retailing business in China.
——According to the World Bank’s new Commodity Markets Outlook, a quarterly update on the state of the international commodity markets, the World Bank is lowering its 2015 forecast for crude oil prices from $57 per barrel in its July report to $52 per barrel.

——On 20th October, Ministry of Land and Resources of the People’s Republic of China opened bidding for oil and gas blocks in Beijing for the first time to avoid the monopoly where there are only several companies exploring oil and gas in China.
——Beijing's largest PV charge station will have been established by the end of 2015 with the ability to offer electricity for 80 electric vehicles per day, which will achieve Beijing’s goal of being self-sufficient in electricity.
——In the first three quarters of 2015, the sales of new energy vehicles in China experienced a 230 percent increase year-on-year, making green car become an investment highlight for China’s 13th Five-Year Plan with improvements in ideas, policies and techniques regarding energy saving and environmental protection.
