◆On 13th February, marathon peace talks achieved the breakthroughs that were a ceasefire due to start Sunday and an agreement for Ukraine and Russia to pull back heavy weapons, which would ease Russia’s anxieties about its oil demands.

◆On 10th February, gas stations under the China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) in Guangdong province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region provided free-fuel services for migrant workers on motorcycles.
◆Zhuzhou CSR Times Electric Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of CSR Corporation Limited of China, has acquired Specialist Machine Developments (SMD) group.
◆On 9th February, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a price adjustment that retail gasoline prices would rose by 290 yuan and diesel by 280 yuan since 10th February.
◆The growth rate of natural gas has dropped to 10-year low in 2014 and China desires a gas pricing reform from the expert’s standpoint.
