IEA Says Global Oil Supply Grows at ‘Breakneck Speed’; China's Energy Consumption Per Unit of GDP Falls 5.9% in First Half

——The global oil glut will persist well into 2016, IEA, the world’s leading energy body said on 13th August, even as the collapse in prices is pushing up demand at the fastest pace in five years.
——India, the world’s third largest consumer of coal, plans to increase domestic coal production and to cut down on coal imports, which poses a threat to the increase of global coal price.
——On August 3, 2015, President Obama and EPA announced the Clean Power Plan - a historic and important step in reducing carbon pollution from power plants that takes real action on climate change.
