Ms. Claudia Linke-Heep from United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) visited the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Reseach

  Recently, Ms. Claudia Linke-Heep, Director of Industrial Development, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, visited the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research and discussed the green industry development assessment and energy & environmental policy research with Center’s research team extensively. Dr. Thomas Jackson, International Development Specialist for UNIDO, Pan Haoran, Director of the Office of Research and Evaluation and Zhao Liang, Project Director for UNIDO & UNEP Green Industry Platform accompanied with Ms. Claudia Linke-Heep. Mr. Yang Dongwei, Minister of Industry and Information, introduced the basic situation of the research on green development index in China's industrial sector and conducted in-depth exchanges with Ms. Claudia Linke-Heep.
  The United Nations Industrial Development Organization is the United Nations specialized agency dedicated to promoting industrial development and striving for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization and environmental sustainability. Claudia Linke-Heep is the UNIDO Industrial Development director who has worked in UNIDO for more than 15 years and has focused on energy and climate change, trade capacity building and private sector development, and is now responsible for coordinating the Green Industry Initiative and Platform in the Environmental Management Branch.
   


  Ms. Claudia Linke-Heep’s visit and exchange has further promoted the cooperation between the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization.
