Professor Tang Baojun, Deputy Director of Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, has been selected as a young Yangtze River scholar by the Ministry of Education.

  Recently, the Ministry of Education released the list of "Yangtze River scholars Award Program", and Professor Tang Baojun of our center was selected as the 2018 young Yangtze River scholar in the "Yangtze River scholars Award Program" of the Ministry of education.

  Professor Tang Baojun is engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of environmental management, energy finance and new energy vehicle industry policy. In the past decade, she has presided over more than 20 scientific research tasks such as National Natural Science Foundation of China's key projects and general projects (3 projects), the National Science and Technology Support Plan, the Beijing Science and Technology Innovation Base Cultivation and Development Engineering Special Project, and the Ministry of Education Doctoral Fund. She is a backbone member of the National Natural Science Foundation's innovative research group and the first batch of think tank research projects, and has won a total of 6 provincial and ministerial prizes. She is also the secretary general of the energy economy and management research branch of China Association of Optimization Law and Unified Research; discipline leader of Beijing Key Laboratory of Energy Economy and Environmental Management; and the deputy director of the philosophy and social science base of "Sustainable Economic and Social Development" in Beijing.

  The "Yangtze River scholars award plan" is a special high-level talent plan established by the Ministry of education in 1998. It has effectively trained a group of influential discipline leaders, and also brought together a group of overseas outstanding scholars with outstanding academic achievements to work or serve the country.
