On October 31, the CEEP-BIT held a conference gathering people to learn and discuss about the spirits of the party's eighth session of the Fifth Plenary Session and the “13th Five Year” Plan. Professor Yi-ming Wei, director of the center, Professor Bao-jun Tang, deputy director of the center and a number of teachers and students attended the seminar.

　　Three members of center give their reports on the following three topics: the “13th Five Year” Plan, the Ten Goals, and how the center can practice the spirits of “13th Five Year” Plan better. Firstly, Jin-wei Wang, the PhD candidate of center, noted that the eighth session of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Party is an important conference during a decisive stage of our country’s almost completing the "12nd Five Year" Plan to enter a moderately prosperous society. He used videos, pictures, and digital ways to introduce the ten targets, five keywords and six fields of the “13th Five Year” Plan.

　　Secondly, Rong Han, the PhD candidate of center, introduced the new spirits, new polices, and new guidance of the “13th Five Year” Plan. Then, Hao Chen, also the PhD candidate of center, compared the main opinions of the “13th Five Year” Plan with the research fields of CEEP-BIT.
　　Finally, Professor Yi-ming Wei, director of the center, pointed out that is necessary for researchers in the field of economic and management to learn more and research the “13th Five Year” Plan and realize the new development of the country’s polices.

　　The conference of the “13th Five Year” Plan came to a successful end in everyone’s enthusiasm.
