On Dec.22, Prof. Yong Zhou from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was invited to give a lecture in CEEP, whose topic is the Statistical Learning Theory and Method and its Application on International Finance based on Finance Big Data.

　　This seminar was hosted by deputy director Bao-Jun Tang. Prof. Yi-Ming Wei, director of CEEP-BIT, Zhaohua Wang and Hua Liao, deputy directors of CEEP-BIT, as well as other teachers and students attended this seminar.
　　Prof. Yong Zhou, is the winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, the Ministry of Education Changjiang Scholar, the special government allowances experts and the "New Century Talents Project" national candidate.
　　The main research fields of Prof. Yong Zhou focus on Analysis and Modeling of Big Data, Finance Econometric, Risks Management, Statistical theory and method, and etc. He has achieved many research results which have important academic values and impacts.

　　The report mainly focuses on the analysis method and technology of Finance Big Data with the combination of current background. He mainly talked about the risks measurement issues faced by Internet Finance and put forward several key scientific problems.

　　After this report, teachers and students from CEEP-BIT had a heated discussion with Prof. Yong Zhou and had a picture taken together.
