From Oct.24th to 25th, Mid-term Evaluation of the 11th Five-Year Plan National Science Supporting Projectwhich is titled "Overseas Mineral Resources Exploitaion Risk Assessment and Region Selection Research" was held by Bureau of Science and Technology for Resource and Environment in Beijing. In detail, Professor Yi-Ming Wei, as the leader of this project, gave reports of general progress of the three branch projects, which are"Overseas Mineral  Resources Exploitaion Risk Assessment Research"(2006BAB08B01), "Region Selection of Overseas Oil and Gas Resources"(2006BAB08B02), "Region Selection of Overseas Metallic Ore"(2006BAB08B03).

Reviewing Expertise Group spoke highly of progress of these projects.
