Recently, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission officially announced the list of 35 project leaders of the Beijing Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2019. As the youngest project leader, Professor Yu Biying of our institute was granted project approval and funding.
Professor Yu Biying, winner of National Science Foundation for outstanding young scholars. In 2015, he joined the school of management and economics of Beijing University of technology as a talent introduction, and now he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the school of management and economics, and deputy director of the energy and environmental policy research center. Before joining the company, he was a special researcher of JSPS at Kyoto University, a visiting researcher at UCL and an assistant professor at Hiroshima University. Mainly engaged in energy and environmental management and policy research. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 academic papers in international journals, including the famous journal Nature energy, applied energy, environment and planning, transportation research part a, Journal of transport geography, etc. Among them, research article published in nature energy was selected as nature research highlights. He co published 5 Monographs in Chinese, English and Japanese. Several policy advisory reports were completed and adopted. He is also the subject assistant editor of applied energy journal and associate editor of Asian transport studies journal.
