On October 26th 2014, Prof. Eric Martinotof Beijing Institute of Technology gave a talk about“Policy, Markets, and Business for Integration of Renewable Energy into the Power Sector: the Cases of Germany and California”. The report was hosted by Prof.Tang Baojun and showed that the main obstacle of commercializing renewable energy came from the policy not the technology.

Prof. Wei Yiming, the directorof CEEP-BIT, some teachers and students attended the seminar and had an in-depth discussion of renewable energy issues with Prof.Eric Martinot.
