From November 15th to 22ed, senior researcher Shi Xunpeng from National University of Singapore Energy Studies Institute paid a visit to CEEP-BIT at invitation and gave a series of lectures here.

Dr. Shi Xunpeng has rich experience in international academic research, domestic research, management and administrative work, who now is the senior researcher of Energy Studies Institute and the deputy director of economic research department. He is now taking charge of several research projects, for example, “Gas trading hubs and hub pricing in East Asia”, China’s natural gas market reform, the rebound effects of energy efficiency and etc.

Sustainable energy polices is one of the reports, which discusses four aspects: “sustainable energy polices in East Asia”, “the sustainable development evaluate of biomass energy”, “Carbon footprint labelling” and “natural gas price mechanism ”. This report focuses on the development process of East Asia energy market integration.

　　Energy efficiency is also one of the reports, he gave a detailed introduction about three aspects: “the basic information about South-East Asia and ASEAN energy efficiency”, “instruments of energy efficiency polices” and etc.

　　What’s more, Dr. Shi Xunpeng introduced several real cases just like the process of establishing the energy standard law system. After the lecture, there was a heated discussion about the academic research between Dr. Shi Xunpeng and students.
