On 27th May, 2015, Zhi-Min Huang, Professor of Adelphi University, visited CEEP-BIT. He gave a talk about “Cooperative Advertising in Supply Chain Management” and received a warm welcome. This seminar was hosted by Prof. Bao-Jun Tang, the deputy director of CEEP-BIT. Prof. Yi-Ming Wei, the director of CEEP-BIT, Prof. Zhao-Hua Wang, the deputy director of CEEP-BIT, and other teachers along with students attended this seminar.
Most studies to date on vertical co-op advertising have focused on a relationship where the manufacturer is a leader and the retailer is a follower, which implies that the manufacturer dominates the retailer. Prof. Zhi-Min Huang takes co-op advertising for example and intends to discuss the relationship between co-op advertising and the efficiency of manufacturer-retailer transactions using profit functions.
After this seminar, teachers and students from CEEP-BIT had a heated discussion with Prof. Zhi-Min Huang and had a picture taken together.
