【About Report】：The world is about to witness a large-scale wave of retired photovoltaic modules. Realizing the recycling of photovoltaic waste has become a critical challenge faced globally. To formulate reasonable and effective recycling strategies, it is urgent to answer key questions such as which regions will generate concentrated photovoltaic waste and what recycling approaches should be adopted in different regions. Targeting the above issues, this study forecasts the global generation scale of photovoltaic waste, and assesses economic benefits and greenhouse gas emission reduction benefits under different recycling technologies, waste trade patterns and subsidy mechanisms, so as to provide scientific references for promoting the recycling of retired photovoltaic modules worldwide.
